Ammunition must be securely packaged and meet the specifications outlined in Division 1.4S UN 0012 or UN 0014. The quantity of ammunition should not exceed 5 kg (11 lb) in gross weight per person, and it should be intended for personal use only.

Ammunition containing explosive or incendiary projectiles is strictly prohibited and not allowed within the weight allowance. It is crucial to note that combining allowances for multiple passengers into a single package is not permissible.

Each person is permitted to carry one (1) Avalanche Rescue Backpack. The backpack should be equipped with cartridges of compressed gas classified under Division 2.2. The backpack may include a pyrotechnic trigger mechanism classified under Division 1.4S, with a maximum net weight of 200 mg. The backpack must be packed in a manner that effectively prevents accidental activation.

The airbags incorporated within the backpacks must be equipped with pressure relief valves to maintain optimal functionality.

Camping stoves and fuel containers with empty fuel tanks or containers are permitted. All liquid fuel must be completely removed from the tank or container. Prior to transportation, the fuel tank must undergo a purging process as follows:

During packing, adherence to the following guidelines is necessary:

  • The fuel tank should be allowed to drain for a minimum duration of one (1) hour.
  • The uncapped fuel tank must remain untouched for a period of at least six (6) hours.
  • If desired, cooking oil may be added to the fuel tank before emptying.
  • Ensure the tank cap is tightly secured.
  • Wrap the tank in an absorbent material, such as a paper towel, to prevent leakage.
  • Place the wrapped tank in a sealed polyethylene bag (or equivalent).

Subject to any applicable law to the contrary, applicable taxes, fees and charges imposed by government or other authority, or by the operator of an airport, shall be payable by you. At the time you purchase your Ticket, you will be advised of taxes, fees and charges not included in the fare, most of which will normally be shown separately on the Ticket. The taxes, fees and charges imposed on air travel are constantly changing and can be imposed after the date of Ticket issuance. If there is an increase in a tax, fee or charge shown on the Ticket, we will contact you using your contact details. If we are unable to contact you, we will inform you of any applicable fare surcharge at check in and you will be require d to pay it. In the event any taxes, fees or charges which you have paid to us at the time of Ticket issuance are abolished or reduced such that they no longer apply to you, or a lesser amount is due, you will be entitled to claim a refund if the author ities or entities who received the taxes, fees or charges make a respective refund to us. The fare rules applicable to your ticket at the time of payment for your ticket shall also apply.

Dry ice (carbon dioxide, solid) for the purpose of packing non-hazardous perishable items only is permitted. A maximum quantity of 2.5 kg of dry ice is permitted per passenger. The baggage or package used to transport dry ice must allow for the release of carbon dioxide gas. For checked baggage containing dry ice, clear labeling is mandatory, indicating either "dry ice" or "carbon dioxide, solid." The label must include the net weight of the dry ice to ensure proper handling and safety procedures.

Fuel cells utilising hydrogen as fuel to power portable electronic devices such as cameras and cellular phones (once popular in the 1990s), an alternative power source, are permitted. Cartridge fuel cell devices are permitted without requiring specific approval and can be carried in checked baggage.

Gas cartridges classified under Division 2.2 as non-flammable are permitted. A maximum of two (2) self-inflating personal safety devices is permitted. These devices can have up to two (2) small cartridges each, with a maximum of two (2) spare small cartridges per device. For other devices, up to four (4) cartridges are permitted with a water capacity of up to 50 mL each.

Non-flammable and non-toxic gas cylinders that are utilized for operating mechanical limbs are permitted. These gas cylinders may be carried on one's person. If necessary, spare cylinders of a similar size are permitted. During the security check, gas cylinder(s) are permitted on one’s person, and one (1) spare cylinder is allowed to be carried in baggage.

Hair styling equipment containing a hydrocarbon gas cartridge may be transported, allowing a maximum of one (1) per passenger or crew member. It is mandatory to securely fit the safety cover over the heating element of the hair curlers. Usage of these hair curlers on board the aircraft is strictly prohibited. During the security check, the safety cover of the hair styling equipment will be inspected. Refilling the gas cartridge is not allowed.

Passengers are NOT permitted to use the hair curlers while on board the aircraft.

Insulated packaging containing refrigerated liquid nitrogen (dry shipper) is allowed for transportation, provided that the liquid nitrogen is fully absorbed in a porous material. This type of packaging is commonly used by health and research personnel to carry temperature-sensitive perishable specimens. Passengers must present an official letter mentioning the packaging during the security check to confirm its purpose and contents.

Each person is permitted to carry one (1) small packet of safety matches or a small cigarette lighter, intended for personal use, provided it does not contain unabsorbed liquid fuel (excluding liquefied gas). These items must be carried on one's person and should comply with local regulations pertaining to their transportation. It is strictly prohibited to transport lighter fuel and lighter refills.

Refer to local regulations to ensure compliance with any specific restrictions or guidelines applicable in respective location.

Non-radioactive medicinal or toilet articles, including aerosols such as hair sprays, perfumes, colognes, and medicines containing alcohol are permitted. Non-flammable, non-toxic (Division 2.2) aerosols without any subsidiary hazard, intended for sporting or home use, are also allowed. The maximum net quantity for these items is 2kg or 2L, with each individual article limited to 0.5kg or 0.5L.

Gaseous oxygen or air cylinders for medical use are permitted for transportation only and not permitted to use during the flight with the condition that the cylinder does not exceed a gross weight of 5kg. A MEDIF (Medical Information Form) must be filled and approval from the WY Clinic must be obtained. Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) must be electrical or electronic, operated by batteries, and passengers are advised to refer to battery limits. The use of POC or oxygen cylinders on board the aircraft is strictly allowed only with MEDA (Medical Clearance) obtained from the WY Clinic.

For devices powered by batteries, passengers should also adhere to battery and Portable Electronic Device (PED) restrictions as applicable.

Devices utilizing liquid oxygen to generate oxygen are strictly forbidden.

Permeation devices, which may contain dangerous goods, are allowed for the purpose of calibrating air quality monitoring devices. This permission is granted only if the device is carried by a representative of a government department or similar official agency.

The representative must provide an official letter declaring that the package meets the requirements of special provision A-41. The maximum gross weight allowed for the package is 30kg. During the security check, the weight of the package and the official letter from the passenger will be verified for compliance.

Each person is permitted to carry one (1) small-sized medical or clinical thermometer for personal use. It is essential to ensure that the thermometer is packed in its protective case during transportation.

Non-infectious animal specimens that are packed with small quantities of alcohol or alcohol solution as a preservative are permitted. These specimens must be packed in adequate tertiary packaging that includes cushioning and absorbent materials. The maximum total quantity of alcohol or alcohol solution allowed per package is 1L. The packages must be clearly marked as "scientific research specimens, not restricted," and Special Provision A180 applies to these shipments.

Passenger MUST carry official declaration mentioning the above requirements are complied.

Non-Removable Batteries – Batteries must contain no more than 0.3 g lithium metal or lithium ion must not exceed 2.7 Wh.

Removable Batteries – Batteries must be removed if the bag is to be checked in. Removed batteries must be carried in the cabin as a spare battery.

A. Non-spillable battery, nickel-metal hydride battery or a dry battery (WCDB)

Spare batteries must be carried by passenger in specially designed battery container (provided by manufacturer).

Special Note:

Mobility aid and wheelchair with batteries are permitted to be carried ONLY as checked baggage (when attached with mobility air/ wheelchair (Refer to point b below for lithium batteries and notes for Spare batteries for wheelchairs/ mobility aids).

Following instructions apply:

a. Wheelchairs or mobility aids powered with batteries, including wet batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, dry batteries, or lithium batteries, must have the battery(s) fitted or attached to the device.

b. For lithium battery-powered wheelchairs or mobility aids, if the design does not provide sufficient protection for the battery, the battery must be removed and carried as a spare battery. The quantity and power limitations for spare batteries must adhere to the regulations (As mentioned in the relevant table)

c. The acceptance of wheelchairs or mobility aids is subject to mandatory physical checks during the acceptance process to ensure compliance with safety requirements.

d. Loose batteries of any type that are locally packed and presented separately are not permitted for transportation with the wheelchair or mobility aid.

Spare Batteries for Wheelchairs/Mobility Aids

a. When batteries are removed from wheelchairs or mobility aids, they should be classified as "SPARE BATTERIES" for carriage purposes.

b. Spare batteries, whether spillable or non-spillable, for wheelchairs or mobility aids are not permitted as carry-on baggage.

c. Only lithium spare batteries are allowed as carry-on baggage. However, the battery power must not exceed 300 watt-hours (Wh) for a single battery. If it is a set of two batteries, each battery must not exceed 160 Wh

The purpose of this policy is to ensure the safe and responsible transportation of dangerous goods being carried by passenger while complying with relevant laws and regulations.

Compliance with this policy is mandatory for all passengers, and failure to adhere to these regulations may result in the confiscation or denial of transported dangerous goods.

The enforcement of this policy will be carried out by the appropriate authorities, who reserve the right to conduct inspections and take necessary actions to ensure compliance.
