Amman, Oman Air’s New Destination

As part of its never ending commitment to grow and expand its operations and services Oman Air, the flag carrier of the Sultanate of Oman is to launch a service from its hub in Muscat, across the Middle East to a new destination Amman, the Jordanian Capital.  

Mr. Ziad bin Karim Al Haremi Oman Air’s Acting Chief Executive Officer stated "This is a momentous occasion for our team. We are pleased to expand our services to meet the needs of our valued customers within this growing industry. We thank the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Meteorology in Oman, and the Jordanian Civil Aviation Authorities for granting us rights to fly to Amman whereby, considering the mutual benefits of our both residents in the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Jordan as well as other travellers desiring to visit the Jordanian Capital Amman. This will consequently result in boosting our Economical and Tourism industries in both our brotherly nations same wise

Corporate Communications & Media Department stated: “Oman Air playing a major role in making Muscat a major traffic hub in the Middle East. Oman Air’s (Omani Khanjar) an emblem of genuineness, now connecting Muscat to many major Gulf cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Doha, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jeddah, Dammam, Muscat, Salalah and Khasab, also Mumbai, Chennai, Trivandrum, Cochin, New Delhi and Hyderabad in the Indian Sub-continent, besides Cairo and Beirut in the Middle East. Amman is the 20th destination for our esteemed customers. This is only a stride towards a sequence of up warding operations we aim to increase in the near future.
