Oman Air receives Official Four Star Airlines Rating at the APEX Regional Passenger Choice Awards

Date: 28 March 2018 Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, received Official Four Star Airlines Rating in the category of Major Regional Airline at the APEX Regional Passenger Choice Awards (PCAs) held in Shanghai on 14 March, 2018.

Oman Air France recognised for its contribution to tourism in the Sultanate

Date: 27 March 2018 Award presented at Oman Workshop in Paris.   Oman Air France has been awarded for its continued contribution to the development of tourism in the Sultanate. The award was presented to Rocio Jolivet, Country Manager France by the Oman Minister of Tourism H.E. Ahmad Al Mahrizi at the prestigious Oman Workshop in Paris on 14 March.

Oman Air Receives Second Boeing 737 Max

Date: 13 March 2018   Oman Air has taken delivery of the second of 30 Boeing 737 Max 8s it has on order on Sunday 11 March. The aircraft will allow the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman to continue its growth. The 737 MAX family offers the greatest flexibility, reliability and efficiency in the single-aisle market, with eight percent lower operating costs than its main competitor. Oman Air expects to receive a total of five 737 MAX by September 2018.

Oman Air continues its dynamic network expansion announcing three new routes in 2018 - Casablanca, Istanbul and Moscow

Date: 21 February 2018   Oman Air, the national carrier for the Sultanate of Oman, is launching three new routes this year to Istanbul, Turkey in June, Casablanca, Morocco in July, and Moscow, Russia in October. While Istanbul and Moscow will be served by Oman Air’s Boeing 737-800, Casablanca will be served by 787-8.
