Oman Air launches new service to Athens
2nd of June 2019 Oman Air, the National Carrier of the Sultanate of Oman has commenced its new daily direct service between Greece and Oman, with the first flight departing Muscat International Airport to Athens International Airport on 1st June 2019.
Tanzania imposes plastic ban on tourists
Date: 27 May 2019 MUSCAT Oman Air, the National Carrier of the Sultanate of Oman issues a travel advisory to its guests flying to its Tanzanian destinations of Dar Es Salaam and Zanzibar in the wake of the Tanzanian government’s ban on plastic, from 1st June onwards. All travelllers flying to these destinations are informed of the ban on plastic by the Tanzanian government.

Oman Air offer guests signature Iftar Boxes during Ramadan

The boxes are available in all cabin classes and feature a creatively-designed Ramadan Mubarak logo extending best wishes to all passengers during the Holy Month.

The Airline’s in-flight magazine, Wings of Oman, was also handed the title, “Middle East’s Leading Inflight Magazine”.
Oman Air and Gulf Air Strengthen and Expand Codeshare Agreement to Include International Destinations
Date: 28 April 2019 Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, and Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, have expanded their existing codeshare agreement allowing passengers to benefit from the outstanding products and services offered by the two airlines. This will extend travel opportunities to fly beyond Muscat and Bahrain effective from the upcoming summer schedule.
Oman Air receives certificate of recognition from KLM
