A new 737 MAX joins Oman Air Fleet
Date: 10 October 2018 Oman Air has celebrated the delivery of its fifth of 30 Boeing 737 MAX 8s it has on order. This comes at a time when the airline is continuing its trajectory of rapid growth and expansion. Meanwhile, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman is expected to receive a total of 9 more 737 MAX 8s next year.
Oman Air launches a WhatsApp Service
Date: 09 October 2018 Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has introduced a new WhatsApp service which enables its guests to communicate instantly with airline staff via the popular messaging app. Clients who opt for this service can now receive their booking confirmations, check-in notifications, boarding passes, flight status updates in addition to other requested information, directly through the messaging app.
Oman Air relaunches flights to the Maldives
Date: 28 October 2018 Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, resumed its service between Muscat and Malé in the Maldives on 28th October. The service is operated by the new B737 –MAX 8 aircraft. Oman Air flights from Muscat to Maldives will operate on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and the flights from Maldives to Muscat will operate on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Oman Air receives its fourth new Boeing 737 MAX 8
Date: 26 September 2018 Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, is set to take delivery of the fourth of 30 Boeing 737 MAX 8s it has on order. By the end of 2018, Oman Air will have taken delivery of five new MAX aircraft and three 787-9s. The Boeing 737 MAX is at the forefront of aviation technology and amongst the most efficient planes in the sky today.

Oman Air announces new codeshare agreement with Lufthansa
Date: 06 August 2018 Oman Air, the National carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, is continuing its expansion across Europe by extending its codeshare agreement with Lufthansa. Under the expanded code share agreement, passengers can now travel on Oman Air flights from Muscat International Airport and connect to Madrid, Brussels, Vienna and Prague from Lufthansa’s Frankfurt and Munich hubs.
Oman Air signed in as the Official Carrier of Ironman
