Certified by IATA, as an AHS 1000 Accredited Member For the Year 2006
Oman Aviation Services has been awarded the AHS 1000 Certificate, issued by IATA, recognizing it as an accredited member of AHS 1000, for compliance with IATA/AHM 804 measurement of service delivery standards.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Mazen bin Seif Al Amad, Senior Manger Ground Operation said, “This certificate is granted based on the recommendations made by IATA Quality Standards Working Group (QSWG) as an appreciation for OAS for consistency with the best quality and safety measures at Seeb airport. We are so proud that OAS is the first ground handler in the Gulf region to achieve this recognition since 1997 up to date. This achievement has been accomplished due to the ambitious plans adopted by the company, in relation to furnishing the staff with the considered necessary skills, and through bring in the most advanced technologies”.
He also added, “Based on the Service Level Agreement (SLA), 10 areas within the Passenger and Ramp Area are subdivided into 6 sub sections, and bench marked on monthly basis, with active involvement of 11 schedule carriers/ 30 flights, to ensure the satisfaction of our services. A total of 300 forms in average are completed within a month”.
He concluded, “The attainment of this certificate will facilitate the company, to deliver ground handling services to all airlines at Seeb airport, likewise attracting more airlines to use the company’s facilities, highlighting the role of Muscat as a regional hub on the international air network. Currently Oman Aviation is providing ground handling services to more than 26 international airlines”.
