Oman Air Participated in Seeb International Airport Apron Safety Week

Recently Oman Air, represented by Quality & Safety Department – Ground Safety - participated recently in the Seeb Airport Annual – Apron Safety Week, along with the operating Companies at Seeb Airport. This event was organised by Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC).

Eng. Talal Al Riyami, Head of Quality & Safety Said: “The objective of the Safety week is to promote safety work environment, safe work practices and staff safety awareness”.

He added: “Achieving and maintaining internationally recognized standard in quality and safety, is invariable and unbending process in all departments of the company, which facilitate Oman Air, to complete the International Air Transport Association’s Operational safety Audits.

Eng. Talal concluded: “Successfully concluding the audit is a global recognition that Oman Air fulfills the internationally recognized safety standards.

A further pride for Oman Air’s consisting, of being the 24th member in which, has successfully completed the audit out of the 266 IATA members & the 3rd among Arabic Airlines.

Daily throughout the Week, safety seminars were conducted by representatives, representing the various participating companies.
