Oman Air has announced a superb new offer on flights from the Sultanate's capital of Muscat to the southern city of Salalah.
From 1st July to the end of September 2011, the airline will be offering return flights at the special rate of just Omani Rial 51 - a reduction of up to 20% on the average market fare.
Whilst Oman Air has taken steps to ensure that the maximum number of seats is available throughout the period of the offer, these fares are sure to prove extremely popular and customers are advised to book at the earliest opportunity.
Abdul Razaq Alraisi, Oman Air's Chief Commercial Officer, announced the offer, saying:
"Our move to offer this special rate reflects the dedication of the National Carrier towards the Community, also meets the needs of its valued customers. We are sure many Omanis, as well as residents of the GCC region and tourists from far and wide, will visit Salalah over the coming months and enjoy the verdant beauty of the Dhofar region.
"As the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, Oman Air is committed to offering the best possible value for all our customers and we want to encourage more people to discover the full range of destinations that the country has to offer.
"The diverse landscapes and the climatic variations across Oman's regions make the country a perfect getaway throughout the year and we are pleased that, through this offer, we are enabling more people to visit the Dhofar region and to experience its unique history, culture and hospitality. Of course, visitors will also have the opportunity to make the most of Oman Air's internationally-acclaimed products and services, of which we are very proud.
"We anticipate that demand for seats on this route will be very strong, both from Omani families and from visitors from the GCC countries. And, because we have convenient connections to 41 destinations worldwide, we also expect to see many visitors from further afield. We have therefore worked hard to ensure that the maximum number of seats is available and we look forward to welcoming many more passengers to our flights."
At the end of the offer period, the ticket price and availability will be reviewed in light of the service's popularity with customers and a decision will be taken on whether to revise the price once again.
