The Maharat programmer was jointly organized by Oman Air and Beoing.
The programme aims to raise the capabilities of new graduates and give them the skills and information required to prosper in today’s job market and work environments. It targeted 120 young Omani students.
The training was delivered by qualified instructors with long-term practical experience and focused on modern learning techniques which sharpen participants’ skills, promote team spirit and the importance of team values, improve self-confidence and provide opportunities to apply the newly-found skills in a practical setting.
The programme also offered special training in the field of leadership, by defining concepts and entrepreneurial behaviors that encouraged participants to start their own projects.
The High Technical College in Muscat is one of seven technical colleges, supervised by the Oman Ministry of Manpower, that together constitute the second largest institution of higher education in Oman, with 12,000 students studying a range of programmes.
