Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, has announced the appointment of Abdulrazaq bin Juma Alraisi as Chief Commercial Officer, to further strengthen the company's established management team. Through his many years of working with Oman Air in different positions, including Country Manager – Oman, Senior Manager Sales and GM Worldwide Sales over a span of 10 years, Alraisi has proven beyond doubt his strength in management, leadership, team building and problem solving capabilities, beside his challenge-driven capabilities.
A qualified Management professional with over 20 years of experience in managerial skills in reputable aviation organizations, Alraisi has a proven track record of efficiently handling the commercial aspects of airlines, posting excellent results. In his new role, he will oversee the areas of Worldwide Sales, Holidays, Inflight Services, Cargo and Loyalty Program.
On his appointment as the Chief Commercial Officer, Abdulrazaq Alraisi said:

Abdulrazaq Alraisi is currently the Chairman of the Board of Airline Representatives – Oman, member of the Municipal Council (2011-2014), the Vice Chairman of Omanisation Committee for Airline and Tourism Sectors, member of Tourism & Investment Committee (Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry) member of the Commercial committee of Arab Air Carriers Organization. He has an MBA from Hull University (UK) and Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Arkansas at Little Rock (USA) and has attended many professional management training and seminars to further hone his managerial and leadership capabilities.
