    The city of Abu Dhabi sits on an island off the west coast of the United Arab Emirates. The island city is located just 250 meters from the mainland which consists of many other suburbs linked to the emirate, Abu Dhabi.

    Abu Dhabi has a sub-tropical, arid climate. Sunny blue skies and high temperatures can be expected most of the year. Temperatures can average around 40°C during the summer season, peaking in August. On the other hand, the mild months (November to April) in Abu Dhabi are incredibly pleasant with only sporadic rainfall. Temperatures hover around 24°C, rarely dipping below 10°C even on the coldest nights.
