1. Passengers are not allowed to enter.
- This does not apply to:
- nationals and residents of United Arab Emirates;
- domestic helpers who are traveling with the sponsor or with the first degree family members of the sponsor;
- passengers traveling as tourists to Dubai (DXB) or Sharjah (SHJ) with a return/onward ticket;
- nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia with a United Arab Emirates Identity Card arriving at Dubai (DXB);
- nationals of Korea (Rep.) traveling under the Fast Track program and arriving at Dubai (DXB). They must have a pre-arranged visa or a pre-approval to enter;
- passengers arriving at Abu Dhabi (AUH) with a resident visa;
- nationals of Korea (Rep.) traveling under the Fast Track program and arriving at Abu Dhabi (AUH). They must have a pre-approval to enter;
- nationals of Indonesia traveling under the Safe Travel Corridor program. They must have an entry permit and a return ticket.
2. Passengers arriving at Dubai (DXB):
- are subject to medical screening, and
- must present a completed self-declaration health form, and
- must download and register the COVID-19 DXB Smart App.
3. Passengers traveling as tourists arriving at Dubai (DXB) or Sharjah (SHJ) must have health insurance.
4. Tourists arriving at DXB/DWC must present a negative COVID 19 PCR test certificate that is valid for 96 hours from the date of the test before departure except for passengers coming from the UK and Germany who have the option to take a COVID 19 PCR test on arrival in Dubai.
5. UAE Nationals are Not required to conduct PCR test before arriving at DXB/DWC , PCR Test on arrival only
6. Residents of United Arab Emirates with a residency visa issued in Dubai returning to Dubai (DXB) must have a GDRFA approval obtained before departure on

7. Residents of United Arab Emirates must have an ICA approval obtained at
https://uaeentry.ica.gov.ae before departure.
- This does not apply to passengers returning to Dubai (DXB).
8. Passengers entering Dubai (DXB) or Al Maktoum (DWC) as tourists must have a printed medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 96 hours before departure. The certificate must be in Arabic or English and must be issued by an approved lab listed on
https://screening.purehealth.ae or a lab accredited by the departure country.
- This does not apply to:
- passengers arriving from Germany or United Kingdom;
- nationals of United Arab Emirates;
- passengers younger than 12 years;
- passengers with disabilities.
9. Passengers entering Dubai (DXB) or Al Maktoum (DWC) from Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Chile, Cote d'Ivoire, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, Hungary, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Malta, Moldova (Rep.), Montenegro, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, Russian Fed., Rwanda, Senegal, Slovakia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Viet Nam, Zambia or Zimbabwe must have a printed medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result. 10. Passengers arriving from Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Chile, Cote d'Ivoire, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana, Greece, Guinea, Hungary, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Malta, Moldova (Rep.), Montenegro, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, Russian Fed., Rwanda, Senegal, Slovakia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, USA (only California, Florida and Texas), Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Uganda, Viet Nam, Zambia or Zimbabwe, and transiting Al Maktoum (DWC) or Dubai (DXB) must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 96 hours before departure. The certificate must be issued by an approved lab listed on

- This does not apply to;
- Nationals of UAE. (Nationals of UAE are required to perform only 1 PCR test upon arrival)
- passengers younger than 12 years;
- passengers with disabilities
11. Passengers entering or transiting Abu Dhabi (AUH) or Sharjah (SHJ) must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 96 hours before departure. The certificate must be issued by an approved lab listed on
https://screening.purehealth.ae or a lab accredited by the departure country.
- This does not apply to:
- passengers younger than 12 years;
- passengers with disabilities.
12. Passengers entering Al Maktoum (DWC) or Dubai (DXB) or Sharjah (SHJ) could be subject to a Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test and quarantine.
13. Passengers and airline crew arriving at Abu Dhabi (AUH) are subject to medical screening and quarantine.
14. Suspension of all visa on arrival facilities on Abu Dhabi (AUH).
15. Visas issued by the United Arab Emirates that expired after 1 March 2020 are accepted for entry until 31 December 2020. They must be validated within 30 days of entry.
16. Passengers arriving at Sharjah (SHJ) must download the ALHOSN App.
17. Expired residency permits issued by the United Arab Emirates that have been extended until December 2020 are accepted for entry.
18. Passengers with a residence permit issued by the United Arab Emirates are allowed to stay abroad longer than 180 days.
19. Nationals of Korea (Rep.) traveling under the Fast Track program must have an 'Isolation Exemption Certificate'.
20. Passengers are allowed to transit Abu Dhabi (AUH) for maximum 12 hours.
21. Transit passengers must have a negative COVID 19 PCR test certificate that is valid for 96 hours from the date of test, as well as to follow any requirements for their final destination.
22. Passengers transiting Abu Dhabi (AUH) for more than 8 hours must have a confirmed hotel booking.
23. Nationals of Nigeria must have a return ticket, and a hotel booking or proof of accommodation address for the period of intended stay.
- This does not apply to passengers with a resident visa.
24. Passengers must wear mask and gloves.
25. All citizens, residents, tourists and transit passengers are require to obtain a negative COVID19 certificate before arriving into DXB or DWC.
26. Print Negative COVID19 Certificate in English or Arabic.
27. Fill the Undertaking Form before arriving at DXB. Submitted before PCR test on arrival in DXB.
28. Undergo PCR test at DXB before immigration and self-isolate until results
29. All other UAE residents can obtain the entry permission from the Federal Authority. This service allows residents from other Emirates with valid resident visa to confirm entry / re-entry into the UAE through the link uaeentry.ica.gov.ae
