Oman Air Agents Award & Ramadan Festivities At Trivandrum

Trivandrum Station, the first Oman Air destination to the Indian sub-continent, distributed agent’s awards for the top productive agents for the years 2005 and 2006. In a colorful function held at the RDR Auditorium, Trivandrum, Oman Air Country Manager, Mohammed Bin Salim Al Balushi, distributed the awards.

Oman Air Trivandrum Station celebrated Onam too, with cultural programs and a sumptuous Onam Sadhya (Onam feast) for 1200 staff from travel and trade associates in the Trivandrum region, who also participated in the celebrations
and award function.
 
In this regard, Mohammed Bin Salim Al Balushi said, “ In the very near future, Oman Air will be expanding its operations to London, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, Kulalumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, beside other long haul destinations.
 
Mr. Mohammed Bin Salim Al Balushi-Country Manager-India, Mr.Chetan Gupta-Chairman-GSA-RLGroup, Mr.Suresh Nair-Vice President, RL Group, Mr.Raphael Dhanaraj-GM, RL Travels, besides Mr.M.A.Altaf-DSM-TRV, attended both functions.

Mr. Altaf in conclusion mentioned that Oman Air has once again joined in the Ramadan festivities by distributing free food kits to 800 needy families in Trivandrum, irrespective of their religion whom were identified and distributed coupons in advance, to ensure that the food kits reach only the deserving hands that came with the coupons. The goodhearted gathering was inaugurated in the presence of Oman Air officials, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, along with the people's representative in the village council. This is the second consecutive year Oman Air has organised a food distribution event for the festive of Ramadan season.

He concluded saying that Oman Air last year also, distributed food kits to the poor in the society, when the upper class of the society is busy hosting Ifthar parties, this noble gesture of Oman Air is indeed a welcome change.
