    Oman Air wishes to inform its valued passengers that there will be changes in the flight schedule and operating aircraft to certain destinations on the 8th and 9th of April due to technical reasons, the details of which are as follows:
  • Grimsvotn Volcanic Eruption in Iceland

    At this stage, the Grimsvotn volcanic eruption in Iceland has had no impact on Oman Air traffic; all Oman Air flights to and from Europe continue according to normal schedules.
  • User Development Fee of Rs 575 at Trivandrum Airport Effective 1st March 2011

    Airports Authority of India, Hqrs, New Delhi has conveyed Airport Economic Regulatory Authority Appellate Tribunal (AERAAT) Order dated 9th Feb, 2011, thereby conveying the approval to levy of “User Development Fee” (UDF) at Trivandrum Airport.

    Oman Air has cancelled its flights to London Heathrow on Thursday after Britain closed its airspace following an ash cloud caused by a volcanic eruption in Iceland. The closure of airspace is in keeping with the safety advice issued by UK air traffic control (ATC). The volcano was sending up smoke and ash that posed a significant safety threat to aircraft, as visibility is compromised and debris can get sucked into airplane engines.
