Oman Air Staff Receive IATA Diploma in Revenue Accounting and Control

Oman Air's Chief Executive Officer, Wayne Pearce, has presented the airline's revenue accounting staff with IATA Diplomas in Revenue Accounting and Control

The diplomas were awarded following a series of intensive training courses, delivered by IATA Training, which covered Basic Passenger Fares and Ticketing, Passenger Revenue Control (Initial level), Advanced Passenger Proration and Passenger Interline Accounting and Control. 23 Revenue Accounting staff attended the courses, in which the majority were young Omani nationals.

The Official Airline positioning takes the sponsorship by the Sultanate of Oman's national carrier to a higher, enhanced level. Oman Sail has had significant success in the Extreme Sailing Series over the last two years.

Travelplus Airline Amenity Bag Awards 2011 Oman Air has scooped two key awards at the TravelPlus Airline Amenity Bag Awards 2011, which were held last night in central London. The national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman won both the Best First Class Female Amenity Bag and the Best Business Class Unisex Amenity Bag categories, and was also Highly Commended in the Best First Class Male Amenity Bag category.

Oman Air Celebrates Success of Recently-Launched Muscat to Zurich Route

His Excellency Mr Khalil Al Khonji Oman Air will be celebrating last month's launch of its new service between Zurich and Muscat with a special event at the Park Hyatt Zurich.

The event, to be held on 19^th January, will be hosted by Oman Air and will welcome a distinguished guest of honour, His Excellency Mr Khalil Al Khonji, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
