Oman Air regrets to inform customers that their flights WY 101 to London Heathrow and WY 121 to Munich, stand cancelled. All flights between Muscat and London - Muscat and Paris - Muscat and Germany remain suspended, due to the closure by air traffic control authorities of UK, France and German airspace. This is due to the volcanic ash cloud, currently moving across Europe from Iceland. The closure of airspace is in keeping with international regulations which safeguard the safety of passengers.
Oman Air is closely monitoring the scenario liaising with international authorities on this. There is not much significant change in the airspace scenario over the UK and Europe, in the wake of the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland.
All passengers are advised to check the status of their flight before leaving for the airport. Oman Air will endeavour to keep you up to date as the situation changes.

European air controls are still maintaining the closure of most European air space due to the volcanic ash cloud currently moving across Europe from Iceland, hence Oman Air regrets to inform customers that their flights WY 101 to London Heathrow and WY 131 to Paris CDG, also WY 113 to Frankfurt are all cancelled. All flights between the mentioned destinations and Muscat remain suspended too.
The closure of airspace is in keeping with international regulations which safeguard the safety of passengers.
