Flight Cancellation

Customers who were holding confirmed tickets to travel on Oman Air Flights only between 3rd-5th June 2010 and could not travel as booked due to Cyclone PHET may rebook their flights without any date change fee subject to availability of seats in the same class. All such re-bookings must be completed latest by 10th of June 2010 and travel must commence latest by the 15th June 2010 from Muscat.

For changes beyond these dates or change of class normal rules will apply.

Oman Air would like to inform its passengers that the Oman Air flights are operating as per the normal schedule, as of now.

Oman Air announces the temporary cancellation of its flights number WY 627 and WY 635 to Ras al-Khaimah and Abu Dhabi, due to the aircrafts being deployed to evacuate the citizens of Masirah Island, in the wake of the tropical cyclone Phet. As the nation's commitment to put the safety of its citizens reign uppermost, Oman Air pledges its support to ably assist the government towards this endeavour.

The passengers stranded due to this cancellation will be put in the immediate available flights, or will be provided suitable alternate arrangements by Oman Air. Oman Air regrets the inconvenience caused to its passengers.
