How do I get in touch with the Sindbad Frequent Flyer Programme?

How long will it take for transactions to be credited to my account?
Transactions will be credited to your account on a monthly basis. Partner claims require authorisation by the partner concerned and may require six weeks before the transaction is credited.
What do I need to do when my membership card is lost or stolen?
Please inform the Membership Service Centre in Oman straight away if you have lost your membership card. The loss of this card will not result in the loss of your Miles. The Membership Service Centre will request a new card for you and it will be sent to you directly.
Do I earn Sindbad Miles on code share flights?
Sindbad Miles can only be earned on code share flights operated by Oman Air or partner airlines. If in doubt, please contact the Membership Service Centre.
How many Sindbad Miles do I need to redeem a flight?
The number of Sindbad Miles required to redeem a return ticket varies according to the origin and the destination. Please contact the Membership Service Centre for redemptions. Alternatively, you can refer to your Membership Guide for all destinations and the relevant Miles. Please note: The redemption tables in this guide are based on one- way travel.
How many Sindbad Miles do I need for an upgrade?
Upgrade redemptions can be processed at the time of booking, as long as seats are available in the required class. Please contact the Membership Service Centre for upgrade redemptions. Alternatively, you can refer to the Membership Guide for all destinations and the relevant Miles. Please note: The redemption tables in this guide are based on one-way travel.
Where do I go to redeem my Sindbad Miles?
Your Sindbad Miles can be redeemed by calling our Membership Service Centre in Oman.
Where can I collect the tickets I redeem?
You can collect your redemption tickets from any Oman Air ticketing office. Please note: Redemption tickets cannot be purchased at the airport.
Can I combine Sindbad Miles from two accounts to redeem?
Redemption tickets can be passed on to whomsoever you choose; however, it is not possible to combine Sindbad Miles from two separate accounts.
Can I use my Sindbad Frequent flyer miles to redeem tickets with Gulf Air?
Yes you can, for exact conditions please contact the Oman Air service centre on +968 24765165.
Can I purchase additional Sindbad Miles?
If you do not have enough Sindbad Miles to redeem what you desire, you can top up your Sindbad Miles by purchasing additional Sindbad Miles, please contact your nearest Oman Air office for details.
Can I claim Sindbad Miles for travel completed prior to joining Sindbad?
Only travel and transactions completed on or after the date you joined the Sindbad Frequent Flyer Programme are eligible to earn Sindbad and Status Miles.
How can I claim my missing Sindbad Miles for travel on Oman Air or any of the partners?
If you are missing Sindbad or Status Miles from your account, you may make a retro claim through the Membership Service Centre in Oman within six months of your travel date by calling the Membership Service Centre or emailing the Membership Service Centre on sindbadffp@omanair.com. To make a retro claim you will need to provide your original boarding cards and a copy of your ticket. Once your flight has been verified, your Sindbad and Status Miles will be immediately credited to your account.
How do I keep my Silver or Gold status?
Once you have met the criteria for a new tier, you are automatically upgraded. Your new tier and membership card will be valid until the date indicated on your card. To retain your new tier, you must meet the retention criteria associated with your tier as set out in this Membership Guide.
Can I check my Mileage balance on the website?
Once you have applied for a membership and you have been provided with a membership number, you can check your Mileage balance on www.omanair.com/sindbad
