Oman Air Adds Kathmandu to its Expanding Network

Oman Air, the National Carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, announces the commencement of services between Muscat, the Omani capital and Kathmandu, from 2nd September 2010. Kathmandu is the 40th destination in the Oman Air network and will be operated with a B737-700 aircraft offering Business and Economy Class cabins.

Furthermore, in addition to the strong demand for flights from Nepalese nationals who work in Oman and further afield, we expect to see significant corporate and leisure traffic, which is important to the economic development of Nepal. Oman Air is pleased to support this growth with its new services."
Oman Air (WY) will operate 4 times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with the timing as follows:
11:40 arriving at Kathmandu at 17:05 (local time)
18:05 arriving at Muscat at 20:45 (local time)
These timings, will offer useful connections to other destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai in the U.A.E. as well as to a range of other GCC and European destinations.
