Oman Air has announced that it is to expand its cargo trucking services from this month and has established Pan-European Trucking in partnership with Jan de Rijk Logistics.
Pan-European Trucking will provide road feeder services covering Oman Air’s major European gateways of London Heathrow, Paris Charles De Gaulle, Milan Malpensa, Munich and Frankfurt, with Zurich following later in the year. Oman Air’s Chief Commercial Officer, Abdulrazaq Al Raisi, announced the new service saying:
“We are delighted to be working with the highly experienced specialists at Jan de Rijk Logistics to provide cargo trucking services in Europe. Pan-European Trucking will complement our recently launched Pan-GCC trucking services and we are confident that it will prove to be a vital element in the expansion of the Oman Air Group.
“We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with Jan de Rijk Logistics, the establishment of which is the latest step in a fundamental transformation of Oman Air.
“Over the last two years, we have introduced new aircraft to our fleet, unveiled new on-board products and services and created superb new lounges at Muscat International Airport. We have also expanded our route network, boosted our Hotels and Catering operation and enhanced our engineering, maintenance and ground handling services.

The launch of Pan-European Trucking comes just one month after Oman Air’s Pan-GCC Custom-Bonded trucking service was unveiled. The Pan-GCC service is operated in partnership with Able Logistics Group (Oman) LLC and links Muscat and Salalah in Oman with other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
