This course comprises of a video-based learning process followed by verbal reinforcement by the instructor, and then supervised ‘hands-on’ experience. Basic content is divided into two parts: Primary Assessment and Secondary Assessment. Primary Assessment covers basic skills used in checking for life-threatening conditions, while Secondary Assessment concentrates on checking for illness and / or injury and providing the necessary care for a wide range of differing medical conditions.
