Oman Air Participates at the Arabian Travel Market 2006
Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, will participate at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) to be held n Dubai from 02 – 05 May 2006. The ATM, one of the biggest tourism and travel exhibitions in the Middle East, will be attended by around 10,000 visitors from the tourism and travel industry worldwide.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Ziad Karim Al Haremi, Oman Air’s Acting Chief Executive Officer said, “The ATM allows significant interaction between members of the travel and trade industry on a global level. Oman Air’s participation this year is based on the close cooperation between the Ministry of tourism and the airline, with the objective of using the event as a platform to promote the unmatched tourist attractions in Oman.”
The ATM 2006 will receive extensive international media coverage. It is anticipated that tourism outlets will unveil new concepts, and airlines will announce the launching of new routes and promote key destinations. Local, regional and international tour operators will get a glimpse of tourism activities, new travel experiences and new projects.
Mr. Al Haremi added, “It will be a good opportunity for Oman Air to unfold its new services, including tour packages to destinations on our network. Oman Air Holidays consistently endeavors to unravel Oman’s beauty to the traveling public by arranging special packages and organising local tours show casing the Sultanate’s un-spoilt beaches, stunning mountains and vast deserts. The package includes return air tickets, hotel, and sight seeing tours for a variety of locations in Oman such as Muscat, Salalah, Khasab, Nizwa, Soor and many other exciting places.”
