Oman Air resumes flights to Lebanon
Oman Air said it has resumed its commercial flights to the Lebanese Rafik Hariri International Airport, with the first flight that operated on Sunday 18th May 2008. Corporate Communications & Media Department stated that the national carrier of The Sultanate of Oman has been assessing the circumstances on a daily basis and is at this stage, content that resuming flights, as affirmed by the company’s security and operational specialists, is completely safe. The flights will operate on daily basis, and Oman Air office in the Lebanese capital is open for booking. Corporate Communications & Media of Oman Air notified that Oman Air has brought it operations to Beirut to a standstill on May 7 2008 due to the unstable circumstances, which the sisterly Lebanese Republic was going through, and for the safety of our valued passengers.
