Oman Air Hosts Staff Social Evening
The Ground Operation Department of Oman Air hosted a Staff Social Evening on September 24 at the Golden Tulip Hotel. The event, the first of its kind, was organized to recognise the valuable contributions of the staff. The event was graced by executive management who expressed their appreciation of the staff’s dedicated efforts in what turned out to be a fun-filled, informal gathering.
The Golden Tulip hotel set out a sumptuous spread while their resident band enthralled the crowd with their music and entertainment. Throughout the evening there were several raffle draws with over 65 exciting prizes up for grabs.
Mr. Mazen Al Amad, Oman Air’s Senior Manager Ground Operations said, “We want to show our staff that we truly appreciate their efforts. It has been a busy summer for us and many of them have put in long hours. Oman Air’s Ground Operation Unit handles over 328 flights a week. During summer, this number goes up to 378. I am pleased to say that, despite the heavy work load, we have received several certificates of appreciation from our valuable customers and industry partners. This is reflective of the commitment and dedication of our staff.”
The function was well received with over 300 people in attendance. Mr. Al Amad added, “In view of the staff response and the success of the evening, we may consider making this an annual event.”
