Oman Air Adds Madinah to Its Expanding Network

Date: 10 Jul 2013 Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, today launches a new weekly service between Muscat, the capital of Oman, and Madinah, in Saudi Arabia. The new service will offer flights from Muscat to Madinah on Tuesdays (departing 1540, arriving 1750) and returning from Medina to Muscat on the same day (departing 1840, arriving 2235).

Oman Air Orders Rolls-Royce Trent 700 Engines for New A330s

Date: 8 Jul 2013 Oman Air has placed an order for Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines to power the three Airbus A330s it currently has on order. The order also includes long-term TotalCare® service support. The Trent 700 is the market leading engine for the Airbus A330, and powers Oman Air’s existing fleet of four A330-200s and three A330-300s, which have been introduced since 2009.
