Omani fans arrived at Bangkok : Considerable success for Oman Air campaign titled(Your Team Needs)

The Campaign lunched by Oman Air, the National Carrier of Sultanate of Oman, under the slogan "Your Team Needs You" attracted masses of Omani residents who headed to the Thai capital Bangkok to support the Omani team during the upcoming match with the Thai team on Wednesday, March 26, 2008.

Mr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Shikely Senior Manager Marketing, Oman Air said the campaign adopted by the National Carrier of Sultanate of Oman comes as a part of the many initiatives developed to promote and support the various cultural, sporting and touristic activities both internally and externally that the Sultanate is involved in He added that from our flight bookings, it is clear that our campaign was well received by the fans and that they understand the importance they play in the success of our national team. The game wil l determine, to a large extent, the Omani team’s chances to qualify for the finals of the World Cup in 2010 and materialize its dream.

Mr. Al Shikely highlighted that Oman Air  is delighted not only, in creating innovative packages that will assist the supporters of our national team, but by also making sure that the packages are delivered in a seamless manner thereby ensuring that we exceed our customer expectations.

In this Corporate Communications & Media Department stated that the special football packages included: return economy class airfare MCT/BKK/MCT, hotel accommodation, daily breakfast, return venue transfers, including football stadium entrance tickets. In addition to this amazing package Oman Air has offered discounts on air tickets to Thailand.
