Oman Air Extends Convenience as Web Check-In Window is Increased Oman Air has increased the period during which customers can use its convenient web check-in facility before they fly.

Web check-in is now available from 36 hours to 90 minutes before scheduled departure, helping passengers - whether travelling alone or with their families, with baggage or without – to avoid airport queues and get airside as quickly as possible.

Oman Air has given away 42,000 air miles to each of four lucky members of its Sindbad frequent flier programme. The miles were offered as prizes in a members-only raffle which was launched on Oman Air’s Facebook page to celebrate the Sultanate of Oman’s 42^nd National Day in November.

Weekly winners have been announced from November 25^th, with each being able to redeem their 42,000 miles against flights to any point within Oman Air’s network of 42 exciting destinations. Participants were asked to ‘Like’ the page and register their entry, with winners being selected at random.

Oman Air and Qatar Airways Agree Muscat-Doha Codeshare

Wayne Pearce Oman Air and Qatar Airways have announced a codeshare agreement, allowing Oman Air’s customers to book flights from any of the 42 departure points within its network to Doha, the capital of Qatar.

The codeshare agreement is effective immediately and customers can now book flights through local outlets or by visiting www.omanair.com.

Oman Air's Sales Teams Gather in Muscat

Oman Air's international sales teams gathered at the airline's Muscat base recently for a series of meetings which reviewed progress over the course of 2012 and agreed targets for future activity, particularly during the peak winter tourism period.

The meetings took place between 30^th September and 8th October and were held at The Golden Tulip hotel, near Oman Air's headquarters.

The teams – drawn from the Europe, Asia Pacific, Gulf, Middle East and Africa regions – have achieved good results to date and their insights into individual markets around the world have been invaluable for the advancement of ongoing sales strategies.
