Oman Air Cargo Introduces Pan-GCC Trucking Services

Oman Air Cargo unveiled its Pan-GCC Custom Bonded Truck services connecting Muscat with Salalah and other GCC countries. Hailed as a milestone in the annals of Oman Air achievements, this service will be effective from 1st June 2011.

Oman Air Restarts Zanzibar Flight

Oman Air, the National Carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, re-commenced its services between Muscat and Zanzibar from “16th May 2011”. Flights will operate NON-STOP between Muscat and Zanzibar three times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturday. Oman Air Cargo is participating at the Transport Logistic, Munich, which is the world´s largest trade fair for Logistics, Mobility, IT and Supply Chain Management. The event takes place from 10th to 13th May 2011 in Munich and is hosted by Munich International Trade Fairs.

Oman Air Restarted Non-Stop Flight Between Salalah and Dubai

May 4 2011- Oman Air, The National Carrier of the Sultanate of Oman has restarted its services between Salalah and Dubai today. Salalah flights will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

To celebrate the resumption of the flights between Salalah and Dubai, a ceremony was organised at Salalah Airport Under the auspices of Sheikh/ Abdullah bin Saif Al Mahrouqi, Dhofar Deputy Governor and attended by local dignitaries, major travel agents, along with some senior management team of Oman Air.

Oman Air is Number One for On-Time Performance at London Heathrow

Don Hunter Oman Air has been named as the top on-time performer at London Heathrow Airport.

Figures just released by BAA show that Oman Air achieved the number one rank with 100% punctuality for departures in February 2011, and the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman has been consistently listed amongst top five airlines for on-time performance (OTP) at Heathrow.

The National Carrier of the Sultanate of Oman will be resuming services between Salalah and Dubai from May 4th and between Muscat and Zanzibar from May 16th. Oman Air Racing driver Ahmad Al Harthy claimed a stunning victory this weekend, coming first in round three of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB Championship at Donington Park. In doing so, he became the first-ever Omani to take the top podium position in international motor racing.
