Oman Air And Bahwan Travel Agencies Partner To Create Oman Air Holidays LLC Oman Air has announced a new joint venture with Bahwan Travel Agencies, which will promote inbound tourism to Oman and outbound holidays to destinations served by the national carrier’s network. To be known as Oman Air Holidays LLC (in partnership with Bahwan Travels), the Sultanate of Oman’s first ever Public/Private Partnership will result in the country’s largest travel and tourism business.

Oman Air Ranked Top for On-Time Performance at Heathrow Figures just released by the British Airport Authority for the month of July 2011 show that, for the third time in six months, Oman Air has been ranked top for on-time performance at London Heathrow, with 100% of its flights taking off on schedule.

Oman Air has consistently been ranked for on-time performance in the top five of airlines operating out of Heathrow and previously achieved first place in February and June 2011.

Oman Air announced its successful participation at the recently concluded Salalah Tourism Festival, which is considered to be one of the region's premier events. The Festival that coincides with the annual monsoon season is a big attraction to Western visitor, though the vast majority of the tourists are from Oman, the rest of the GCC and the Middle East. More than one million and half people turned up for this year's Salalah Tourism Festival, figures show.

Oman Air held many events and weekly raffles at its site at the Festival Ground, which added more colour and gaiety to the festive atmosphere.

Oman Air Attains Another High Flying Award Oman Air's latest annual report has won awards and praise from the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP). The report won a Gold Award in this year's 2010 Vision Awards Annual Report Competition, whilst Oman Air also won a Bronze Award in the Best Letter to Shareholders category.
