Oman Air has announced the appointment of Saleem Bin Amanullah Bin Abdul Hussain to the new role of General Manager Customer Services. He will be based at the airline’s headquarters in Muscat and will spearhead Oman Air’s drive for the highest quality in all direct customer contact.
The soft opening of Oman Air’s new state-of-art “Emergency Response Center” (ERC) was held on 7th Dec. 2011.
The positions were widely advertised throughout Oman and each vacancy has been taken up by an Omani national, followed by interviews in which candidates were required to demonstrate fluency in both Arabic and English language.

Boeing [NYSE: BA] and Oman Air, the Sultanate of Oman’s flagship carrier, today announced an order for six Boeing 787-8s at the Dubai Airshow.
Muscat Duty Free and Sindbad, Oman Air’s Frequent Flyer Programme have partnered to offer Sindbad Members Special offers and Miles when shopping at any of the Muscat Duty Free Outlets located in the Arrival and Departure outlets at the Muscat International Airport.
In an effort to become more accessible to its customers, Oman Air has launched its Facebook page in Arabic, French, Italian and German. With its diversified set of destinations, including Europe, Oman Air now flies to over 41 different destinations and has been steadily increasing its operations, especially in Europe. It currently flies to London, Milan, Paris, Frankfurt and Munich and is soon to launch Zurich in December.
