Oman Air has appointed Abdul Aziz Al Raisi, as Chief Officer, Management Affairs. Abdul Aziz has been working with Oman Air for over 26 years. He started his stint with Oman Air as an engineering trainee at the Engineering and Training Division, and later moved on to become the aircraft engineer. Rising steadily in his career at the airline, he became Senior Engineer - Hangar Supervisor and then Senior Manager - Base Maintenance. The position that he served prior to his current posting was as Senior Manager - Technical Projects.

Oman Air will use the platform of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the Middle East’s leading travel and tourism show, to showcase its unique product and services, network with industry peers and strike partnerships with new business partners. The 17th edition of the ATM will take place from 4 till 7 May 2010 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
