Oman Air Supports Salalah Tourism Festival

Usama Bin Karim Al Haremi Oman Air has announced that it is to be the Official Carrier and Diamond Sponsor of this year’s Salalah Tourism Festival. The festival, which runs from Mid July to the end of August, celebrates the unique history, culture and climate of the Sultanate of Oman’s most southerly Governorate.

Oman Air Following an epic, five-month voyage from Oman to Singapore, the Jewel of Muscat, a traditional Arabian sailing ship built to a 9th Century design, has reached its destination.

The ship, a gift to Singapore from the Sultanate of Oman, arrived at Singapore Harbour to be met by the President of Singapore, SR Nathan, where he was presented with a kamal, a 9th Century navigational tool, by the Jewel of Muscat’s Omani captain, Saleh Al Jabri.

Al Ain International Airport Hosts Oman Air's New Product

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) today welcomed senior government officials and trade delegations to Al Ain International Airport where Oman Air showcased one of its new Airbus A330-200, after having established its Muscat – Al Ain route in May this year.

The new two class A330-200 offers Economy and Business Class cabins. Both are fitted with brand new seats that offer more space, greater comfort, fantastic in-flight entertainment options, and the very latest in communications technology. In fact, the Business Class seat goes way beyond what many airlines offer in First Class. Ahmad Al Harthy Tops 300km/h at Le Mans in Oman Air-Sponsored Porsche

Oman's first international motor racing star, Ahmad A Harthy, achieved speeds of 300km/h this weekend as he took his Oman Air-sponsored Porsche Carrera Cup car to the iconic Le Mans racing circuit in France.

He achieved the speeds during qualifying for the 24 Hours of Le Mans support race, where he posted the sixth-fastest time out of 36 drivers. Ahmad’s outstanding performance was achieved during his first-ever visit to the Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans.
