Oman Air Conducts Training Programme For Sales Executives

Oman Air Training Centre conducted a training programme recently for Oman Air's sales executives from its various outstations who attended the course that was conducted in two batches, each batch with 16 participants.

Oman Air, the flag carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has appointed London-based Black Sheep Public Relations to provide UK public relations support.

Peter Hill, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, says:

"We are delighted to welcome aboard Black Sheep PR and we look forward to working with them to position and build the Oman Air brand in the UK."

Agencies have also been appointed in France and Germany.

Head To Salalah For A Refreshing Summer Break With Oman Air

A public mall promotion road show was led by Oman Air in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, and Doha, Bahrain, Riyadh and Dammam in June and this month to promote the Sultanate’s annual Salalah Tourism Festival to the GCC. The initiative is part of the national carrier of Oman’s efforts to develop greater levels of in-bound tourism.

In the continuous effort to better the Customer Experience on Oman Air and provide customers with a new and easier channel for accessing information, Oman Air has partnered with Tamimah and Nawras, and is proud to announce a further enhancement to its SMS solution.

The new Oman Air SMS service gives access to scheduling, fare enquiries and booking status. Nawras customers can also use the service to update their local contact details or to make a request ordering a special meal or a preferred seat for example.

Oman Air will kick off their largest ever road show in Oman on 19th June 2009. Running for 4 weeks, the campaign will see Oman Air take to the road to show off its new Business Class seat to the residents of Oman’s major towns and cities.

The road show starts at Qurum City Centre on 19th June and 20th June, where customers will be able to experience the airline’s revolutionary new Business Class seat for themselves, as well as find out information about the new product. Oman Air Takes Delivery Of A New Boeing 737-800

Oman Air announced the delivery of the airline's thirteenth Next-Generation 737 (SUR), as the carrier undertakes its ongoing fleet expansion. The brand new Boeing 737-800 left Seattle on a shuttle flight that arrived at Muscat International Airport in Muscat, Oman, on Sunday June 7. With additional two deliveries planned for October 2009, this will bring the national carrier of Oman’s B737 fleet to 15 units.
