Oman Air Announces Flights To Pakistan

Oman Air continues to announce its new destinations for 2007. The Inaugural flight to Karachi in Pakistan will take off on October 1. The national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman will be recommencing its operations to Pakistan with flights 4 times a week to Karachi.

Oman Air Adds Riyadh And Jeddah To Its Network

Oman Air, the national carrier of Sultanate of Oman which is 82 percent owned by the Government, is scheduled to launch its inaugural flight to Riyadh and Jeddah this month. It will be stepping in to fill the gap in the market left by Gulf Air when it stopped flying direct flights to these destinations from Muscat earlier this year.
 
“We will be flying two times a week from Seeb International Airport in Muscat the Omani Capital, to both Riyadh and Jeddah. Everything is ready: Our maintenance crew, pilots, and flight attendants,” said Ziad Bin Karim Al Haremi Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air.

Oman Air Announces Its Operations To London

Oman Air the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman will be launching daily non-stop scheduled services between Muscat, capital of the Sultanate of Oman, and London Gatwick, which is considered a significant milestone for Oman Air. The carrier can now offer passengers seven flights a week between Muscat and the London market.

Oman Air continues to achieve new accomplishments in terms of passengers’ traffic. The airline within the first six month of 2007 has carried 643,724 passengers, which is considered as an unprecedented achievement since operation in 1993. The National Carrier of Oman carried 601,161 Passenger in 2006 and 506,545 passenger in 2005 during the same period respectively.
