Oman Air Outstanding ParticipationIn 2006 FFP Conference

Oman Air recently participated in the 2006 FFP (Frequent Flyer Programme) Conference, which took place in Bangkok, Thailand. The single largest annual event organized for airlines loyalty programmes specialists by Airlines Information LLC. Airline Information and Global Flight teamed with Airline Business Magazine and Oracle for this conference. Delegates from over 75 airlines attended the 2005 conference. Over 175 delegates registered for this conference.

This year's agenda theme was developed from past attendee feedback. Theme of this conference was "re-discovering the customer".

The FAMILY BUSINESS CONFERENCE, "Preservation of Family Business wealth"

Oman Air has contributed in sponsoring the conference titled 'preserving family owned company wealth', organized by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) titled, 'preserving family owned company wealth' - on February 26.

The two-day conference is organized in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Administrative Sciences. The conference shaded light on the importance of preserving the wealth of family owned companies when they are transferred from a generation to another.

The meeting urged owners of such business to utilize Gulf, Arab and foreign expertise in these fields.

Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman and Emirates, one of the world's fastest growing airlines and, have entered into a code share agreement, giving travellers better connectivity and an extended range of services between Dubai and Muscat.

Ziad Al Haremi, Acting Chief Executive Officer Oman Air, and HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group, finalized the agreement at a signing ceremony held in Dubai today.
