As part of the continuous efforts to provide its customers with high class services and, in compliance with IATA's regulations on bar-coded cargo labels, OAS Cargo Department has implemented the issuance of bar-coded cargo label in Seeb International Airport. Oman Air to Add More Flights to Salalah En Route To Boosting Tourism

Oman Air, the national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, has announced additional 4 weekly flights to Salalah, to deal with the increasing demand. This will increase MCT-SLL-MCT frequencies from 28 to 32 per week.

Oman Air Launches Its Internet Booking Service

Implicated with e-commerce, Oman air has launched its electronic e- booking, by which flights can be booked directly by the travelers. This service can be access through Oman Air's website - www.omanair.aero.

Oman Air offers holiday packages for Khareef fest

OMAN Air has announced a slew of offers for agents, tour agents and travelling public as part of Salalah’s Khareef Festival 2006 package.

At a press meet yesterday, Oman Air Country Manager Ghalib Salim Bawazir announced the packages, which include among others accommodation in hotels and apartments and options for car hire and excursions.

Speaking to the media, Bawazir said last year Qatar was the top selling station for Oman Air’s Khareef packages.“There was a 99% increase in revenue compared to our
earnings the previous year,” he said. As part of the Khareef package, Oman Air has launched a holiday package to Salalah, Bawazir pointed out.

Oman Air has recently sponsored the seminar of Musical skills curricula organized by Ministry of Education, represented by Directorate General of Curriculum and Training, held at Al Bustan palace hotel. The opining ceremony was apprehended under the patronage of HE Sayyid Mutassim bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat. The event commenced on 28 May, 2006 for 3 days.
