In line with the company’s ambitious plans to develop the Omani cadre giving them the chance to occupy the highest positions, Oman Air’s Board of Director in its meeting held on  29th October 2006, has confirmed Mr. Ziad bin Karim Al Haremi as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 1 November 2006. Mr. Ziad was appointed as A/CEO since September 2005.
 
The appointment of Mr. Ziad in this senior executive position was due to his qualifications, long experience in different spheres of aviation industry. He obtained his University degree in Aviation Technology from Embry Riddle University in the USA in 1984. He also has a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance and Private Pilot

Children being vital to the nation’s present and its future furthermore, to support in ensuring that they have the opportunities that they need to fulfill their potential. Oman Air reported Profits for the first nine months 2006 
 
Oman Aviation Services “ Oman Air” net financial results for the first nine months of the year ended 30 September 2006 showed a profit of RO 1.452 million compared to a profit of RO 1.351 million during the same period in the previous year, an increase of RO 101,000 or 7%.
